Syd was a long standing member of the AWA and was well known in the Radio Fraternity for his wit and love of radio.
A keen builder and repairer in his time until his eyesight started to give him problems, Syd could be seen at most flea markets and gatherings.
Syd went Sk on July 4 2022 just a few days before his 78th birthday.
