The topic this week was about masts and towers. What kind of masts or towers have you used and what are some hints and tips for getting them up to make them stay up.
There was quite a bit of discussion around towers mostly but also masts that have been put up in areas like estates. Safety in working with towers was also pointed out a few times.
There was discussion around guyed, stand alone, crank up, tilt over and base hinged. Masts that were fixed to the sides of buildings and guyed for support.
What are some of your points on these items ?
